Lively, buttery, citrusy earthy aromas of chocolate mousse, creme brulee, toasted fruitcake, and incense with a satiny, crisp, fruity medium body and a smooth, interesting, medium-length dried fruits and tobacco leaf, nut skins and brittle, limestone, and delicate spices finish. Only the types of brandy made from grapes grown in a specific area around the town of Cognac (near the Atlantic seaboard just north of Bordeaux) can label themselves Cognac.
