Ripe and densely textured, this is a plush, full-bodied wine. With swathes of rich black fruits and some firm tannins, it has good potential. The richness contrasts with the black-currant acidity that gives this otherwise dense wine a bright, crisp aftertaste. Drink from 2024.
The wine from Chateau Lestage Simon has a deep red color and a bouquet of red fruit combined with delicate woody undertones with dark colors and deep glints of garnet. The undertones are spicy, woody and slightly smoky. On the palate, sublte tannins underlie an attractive well-balanced, round and elegant structure.
