Tasting Notes: The nose is elegant and nuanced. Sweet oak, soft peach skin, and caramel malt lead into aromatic cigar box and charred oak, but everything stays subtle and layered. . The palate is well textured, beginning with sweet oak and moving into buttery tannins, almost as if it were wine-finished. Brown sugar and chocolate-covered orange steal the show, while raspberry-infused milk chocolate and freshly torched crème brûlée linger on. The spice is perfectly balanced with the pour, adding even more texture. . The finish is rich and deep, turning toward lightly smoked black tea before moving into dried cherry, cranberry, and plum, all carried through a long, coating, semi-dry chocolatey oak finish.
