This bottling is a tribute to the distilleryâs Great House, still standing in its original form. Built in 1779 by the Stirling family, the first floor was used for rum storage (barrels waiting to be transferred to port) until the 20th century. . Today, it has become the house of representation and reception for guests and visitors. Made from a blend of several marks of three different vintages, this 2025 edition perfectly embodies the distinctive style of this iconic Jamaican rum. . TASTING NOTES. Colour: Deep gold. . Nose: Dense and rich. The profile opens with notes of fermented pineapple, vanilla, and candied ginger. Hints of varnish add complexity and a bold character to this expressive aromatic palette. . Palate: Intense and generous. Ripe banana takes the lead, supported by pronounced empyreumatic notes, liquorice, and a touch of dried chili. The structure is powerful yet well-defined. .
