91 points Vinous Media. The 2022 Rosso di Montepulciano is understated in the glass, slowly emerging with pretty hints of dried strawberry, sandalwood and spice. Soothingly round and supple, it impresses with a core of ripe wild berry fruits excited by juicy acidity as violet inner florals arch across the palate. This leaves a coating of grippy tannins and a tinge of sour cherry, tapering off with medium length and lightly structured. The Rosso di Montepulciano comes from the lowest elevation vineyards of Valdipiatta, planted in sandy clay soils. - By Eric Guido on February 2025. 89 points Wine Spectator. Thereâs plenty of black cherry and blackberry fruit in this red, along with sanguine and earth accents. Firm and open, with a moderate burst of tannins on the finish. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Mammolo. Drink now through 2029. 1,500 cases made, 200 cases imported.
