Producer's Notes:. Musar Jeune Red is an unoaked blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon from youthful Bekaa Valley vines. Meant for current consumption â within a few years of the harvest â this deeply-coloured, vividly fruity style, first produced in 2007, may yet prove to be a âkeeperâ. Inky-dark, silky-textured and aromatic, with blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry jam flavours and a warm, spicy finish, it has been likened to a fine Roussillon red. . Deep purple beetroot colour with a nose and palate of more red fruits than black; strawberries and cherries. Unoaked, with a savoury, earthy depth and a touch of spice and black pepper define the 2021 vintage. It is an elegant wine with layers of taste and lots of potential to age and develop from itsâ release in 2023.
