Hundreds of local grape growers who are dedicated primarily to native Lambrusco varietals consistently produce high-quality wines that authentically represent the unique terroir of the Emilian plain. This lovely red frizzante wine is refreshing, gently off-dry, low in alcohol, structured, and light-bodied, with a lively mousse and medium acidity. Wild strawberries, tart cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, licorice, fig, subtle minerality, and rose petal notes enliven the palate. It pairs well with spicy Indian dishes and barbecue sandwiches.
