This limited release from Starlight Distillery sees their signature three- and four-grain mash bill bourbon aged over four years in new, charred oak casks before being finished in a combination of toasted oak casks composed of three different woods. In addition to American oak casks—best known for providing notes of caramel and vanilla—the use of French and Hungarian oak adds layers of spicy complexity and soft notes of berry fruit.

  • Blend of two mash bills: a three-grain mash bill of 60% corn, 20% rye, and 20% malted barley and a four-grain mash bill of 51% corn, 20% rye, 20% malted barley, and 9% wheat
  • Produced using estate-grown, non-GMO corn, rye, and wheat; malted barley is locally sourced
  • 7-day closed top, sweet mash fermentation in stainless steel
  • Twice distilled in a Vendome brass and copper pot still
  • Aged 5 years; aged for a minimum of 4. 5 years in new charred American oak barrels; finished 6 months in a combination of toasted American, French, and Hungarian oak casks
  • Aromas of cinnamon, red apple, vanilla, and a touch of malted grain on the nose precede a creamy palate of orange zest, toasted walnut, raspberry jam, and ginger with soft oak tannin on a lightly spiced finish
  • Non-chill filtered; 53% ABV
