Kujira Ryukyu Single Grain Whisky 5 years was distilled from 100% long grain Indica rice and matured in White Oak Virgin casks for more than 5 years. Nose: the sweet scent of caramel is accompanied by the note of vanilla and licorice. Oak barrel brings out woody and spice notes. Palate: caramel sweetness developing into notes of fresh vanilla with hints of tannin from oak barrels. Finish: smooth, rounded and sweet, with woody notes, pepper and other spices.
