The grapes are from vines on calcareous-gravelly soil covered with clay. Vinification in tanks takes place for about 15 days, followed by maturation in oak barrels. The wine is sweet, and produces intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, dense fruit, with a fresh tannin finish. Serve as an accompaniment to white or grilled meat.
