A release of just 121 bottles. This single cask Glenallachie was matured in a refill American Hogshead for 28 years. A yeasty and buttery nose, full with quite tropical flavours of pineapple and banana. The palate is almost chewy in character with cedar, leather, oaky spice and brown sugar. The finish is a touch sweet with more spice and a slight earthiness.
