Joseph Magnus Vigilant Navy Strength Gin is crafted from 100% corn spirit that is steeped and distilled with family-made harissa, figs, fresh mint, fresh lemon, hops, hibiscus, and four year old Italian juniper berries. This spirit packs a punch at 114 proof. Tasting Notes: Appearance: Clear Aroma: Surprisingly, the aroma leads with florals, anise, and dried fruits before the whiff of pine arrives. Palate: This is a powerful Gin to sip neat, but we did so in the interests of science and found a rich, almost silky palate with lots of everything — from fruit and citrus to spice and mincemeat with herbal juniper drifting in and out.
