At the foot of the mighty Ben Rinnes Mountain is one of the lesser known distilleries in Scotland. Allt-a-Bhainne is a hidden gem, producing only a small amount of Single Malt each year. This rare Speysider has been affectionately matured in Bourbon and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks over the past quarter of a century. On the nose there are aromas of creamy vanilla, fruit & nut, and butterscotch. Indulgent flavours on the palate; rich malt, milk chocolate and dried orange. There is a gentle sweetness on the finish, notes of vanilla and oak spice.
