The rugged, leather-clad, canteen-style bottles are made using 100% recycled glass. The leather is sourced locally, and inspired by the authentic Huarache sandals traditionally worn by native tribes from Jalisco. Bandero is handmade in small batches. The agave piñas are steamed in a traditional brick agave oven for 30 hours to caramelize and release the flavors and sugars, then rested for 24 hours and cooled for 4 hours before crushing and fermenting. Theymanage and propagate our own natural occurring agave yeast strain, to give our tequila a natural floral flavor. Our unique, premium flavor and floral aroma is the result of a long and slow fermentation process, with purified water from our own well. Bandero is twice distilled before being chill filtered to purify and perfect the flavor.
