Cecchi’s historical label, Chianti represents the company’s Tuscan roots. Chianti Cecchi is produced mainly from Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 28°C for about 15 days. It has an average ageing potential. Although a classic wine, it is interpreted with a modern feel and a safe style, that translates into a balanced blend of fragrances and aromas. With a lively ruby red colour tending to burgundy with ageing, it has an intense and persistent fragrance. It is soft and balanced to the palate. Chianti Cecchi is a wine for the entire meal, suitable for sliced and white meats, and when aged it can accompany roasts, grilled meats and game. It is recommended that it be served at a temperature of 16-18 °C. Producer Since 1893 the Cecchi family & brand has been synonymous with viticulture, both in Italy and throughout the world. The history of the winery is a compelling story of a family, articulated by passion, dedication to the land and a brilliant entrepreneurial spirit. Using the strength gained from their experience of more than 100 years of love for the land, today the Cecchi family takes on the challenges of the future with that same enthusiasm.
