Wine maker notes Dell’ Unita Barolo DOCG is sourced from boththe east and west of the Barolo Region. The west is characterized by younger, more fertile Tortonian soils that express developed notes of flowers and fruits. And in the east, the Helvetian soils are less compact and less fertile, delivering a darker and deeper profile of minerals, dark fruits and spices.
