Our unique spirit takes it’s name from the original Dutch for the Fishkill Creek that meanders for 33 miles through the Hudson Valley. It was this creek that provided a safe haven for the Continental soldiers during the Revolutionary War-- a wonderful, historical image. We included the blue sash on our bottle~ inspired by the blue sash worn by the commanding generals to differentiate themselves from the foot soldiers.
