Our Sonoma County Merlot is a beautiful dark crimson color that displays tantalizing aromas of cassis, blackberry, blueberry pie and sweet spices on the nose. With a soft, velvety texture and mouth-filling tannins this wine exudes a pleasurable palate of blackberry, cassis, chocolate cake, vanilla bean, and sweet oak flavors.
Producer Roth Estate is committed to crafting full-flavored wines grown in the best Sonoma County vineyard sites. Beginning in 2001, Roth started producing Cabernet Sauvignon blends from hillside locations in the famed Alexander Valley. A decade later the winery expanded to include Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot from its home Alexander Valley AVA and also ventured west toward the Sonoma Coast for cool climate sites for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
