Here we have a 31 year old single malt from Tomatin distillery aged in Refill American Hogshead's with only 173 bottles produced from its 6655th cask. Nose: Sweet citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit upfront alongside desiccated coconut alongside vanilla pod, honey and nuts. Palate: Subtle peppered spice moving to fresh, sweet passion fruit, toffee apples, pears and marzipan Finish: Smooth finish with light almonds and toasted oak
