Douglas Laing's "Old Particular" is a particularly unique series of individually hand-selected aged Single Cask Malts' and Single Cask Single Grains from all over Scotland. This 10 year old Talisker single malt whisky, bottled in 2020, is one of 376 bottles aged exclusively in a refill hogshead. Nose: Smoky bonfire, coastal sea salt and caramel. Palate: Fresh malted barley, seaweed, charcoal, sea salt and rubber. Finish: Long with ginger spice, sweet lemon drops, cured ham, toffee and gentle peat.
