This Norman cider is made with apples from our orchards in Normandy. “Douces Ameres” refers to a specific group of apple varieties. It is a recognized term used in cider production which translates into English as “Sweet bitter”. These apples give the cider its shining amber color and its slight touch of bitterness.

| Since 1950, Duche de Longueville has pioneered modern plantations of cider apple trees near Dieppe in Normandy (France). They own 600 hectares of orchards with 15 carefully chosen apple varieties. The production of each variety is harvested separately and the juice is kept at a controlled temperature until blending and bottling. The resulting cider is COMPLETELY NATURAL. These ciders, of unadulterated freshness and charm, explode with the scent of apple fruit, have a lively effervessence, are refined, delicate and absolutely delicious. |
