A refill Bourbon barrel matured Dalmore from the chaps at G&M. Rather interesting to see an un-sherried malt from this distillery. Bottled at a healthy cask strength (57. 4%ABV) and 1 of 225 bottles Official Tasting Notes Nose - Fragrant aromas of lavender complements citrus fruit and vanilla. Sweet red apple develops alongside toffee, toasted cereal, and a hint of white chocolate. Palate - Creamy white pepper spice with sweet red apple leads to toasted cereal and dried oak. Flavours of dried banana, mango, and fresh cut grass come to the fore with a hint of lime. Finish - Light; oak and sweet dried banana on the finish.
