| Laurent Kraft is a seventh generation winemaker in the Loire, and in 1992 he moved back to take over the familys small 3. 5-hectare holdings. Since then has expanded the domaine to 20 hectares on the prime, south-facing banks of the Loire River in the idyllic Vallee Coquette. The Estate is located below high escarpments of tuffeau, a soft chalky limestone. The wines are bottled without any additional doses of sulfur, an anomaly in the region. |
