This is an Everyman amaro. The primary flavors of Cardamaro are cardoon and blessed thistle, with a short repose in oak for spice and texture. The brightness of the wine base makes Cardamaro an excellent aperitivo or digestivo. Mix it with cider or ginger ale, or use in place of vermouth in many cocktails. Cardamaro is a longstanding product of what is today a 4th-generation winemaker in Canelli, Asti, Italy. One of the few historic wineries in Canelli still owned by the founding family, Bosca’s cellars have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Technical notes ALCOHOL: 17% vol SUGARS: 170 g/l

Producer Tosti was founded in 1820 in the town of Canelli located in the heart of the Asti region of Italy. The winery philosophy was to produce a top quality wine from estate grown grapes. Today, Maria Cristina and her husband, Giovanni Bosca, the seventh generation family member continues the philosophy.
