| Bujanda Tinto is a Rioja Joven, which means ”young” and refers to the fact that it sees no oak aging. It is made from 100% Tempranillo from estate vineyards in the Rioja Alta and Alavesa sub-regions. These grapes are harvested through September and October and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 17 days. |

| Finca Montepedroso was founded in 2010 by La Familia Martinez Bujanda, a family-owned collection of wineries that dates back to 1889. More than a century has passed since the family”s patriarch, Joaquin Martinez-Bujanda, started making wine; now his great-grandchildren, Carlos and Pilar, are carrying on the tradition. Traditionally Rioja producers, the Martinez-Bujanda family purchased the Finca Montepedroso vineyard to realize their dream of making fresh, aromatic whites from the high-altitude Verdejo vineyards of Rueda. Planted in 2002, Finca Montepedroso is a 62-acre single-estate vineyard at an altitude of 2,500 feet. The family vinifies their Verdejo in a small yet modern winery on the estate, continuing their tradition of producing family-owned estate wines. |
